Lets start with lock picking. The idea of lock picking is simple. But the only way to be quick is to practices. The idea is to apply a lite amount of pressure to the tumbler while moving the pins up and down. You need to apply enough pressure that the pins will catch at the shire line. But not so much that the pins will not move up and down. 

 

When all the pins catch the tumbler will spin round. Lock picking is only one way to get around a locked door. Put done right you can open any lock with a tumbler.

Lets talk about lock pick sets.There are many to choice from but really all you is a pick to move the pins and a bar to apply pressure to the tumbler. The better you get the more tool you will collect.

Now one quick trick before I end this post is that most locks are old and in the weather. Making them hard to pick but a quick puff of some dry graphite can make it a lot easier.
